Terms & Conditions of Booking

Occupancy: Renting the Villa Languedoc is done on a weekly basis, beginning  from Saturday at 15:00 and ending the following Saturday at 10:00.

Please note that the renting starts on the Saturday prior to the week number rented. So, for example booking or renting Week 22  would comprise the period from   3PM on Saturday May 28, 2005  to  10AM on
Saturday June 4,2005.

Conversely, booking or renting the period from Saturday August 20, 2005  to Saturday August 27, 2005 corresponds to Week 34.

Directions & Keys : Full address with directions along with the keys will be given to you one week before the start of the renting period or by special arrangement.

Deposit: A deposit by cheque or bank transfer of 25% should be made within 7 days of booking. Once the deposit has been received you will receive a confirmation of booking. The balance of the rental cost is due 6 weeks prior to the first date you have booked.

Cancellation: Should a cancellation be necessary then your deposit may be lost, as this limits our chances to rent out the Villa for the period you have booked. Should the cancellation occur after the balance has been paid then the full amount may also be lost. However, if we manage to let out the villa again, we will refund you 90%. If you do not pay the balance when it becomes due then we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. In the event of a cancellation any security deposit already paid will be returned to the client.

Breakage: The person that has made the booking agrees to accept full liability for all loss or damage caused by any member of their party and confirms that the full cost of repair or replacement will be met.

We advise you to take out holiday travel insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed - this should cover any breakage or cancellations for reasons beyond your control.

Privacy: Data provided by you will only be used in respect of your villa booking. It will be treated as strictly confidential and not passed onto any un-necessary third parties.

Maintenance: The property is maintained by an English speaking couple, that lives in a nearby village. All breakages, accidents, losses and other problems must be reported to them as soon as they occur, so that they can be attended to. As with any appliances, they will break from time to time. We will use our best endeavor to have any problems solved as soon as possible.

Force Majeur: We will not be liable for problems or delays caused by strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, tornadoes, hurricanes, transportation problems, airport closures, weather conditions or any other event beyond our immediate control. We suggest that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover such eventualities.

Swimming Pool : The pool is open from May 28th to October 1st. It is surrounded by walls and fences to all sides.  We cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any injury caused as a result of using the swimming pool. NEVER allow children to use the pool unsupervised.
